Tanzania International model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly in Tanzania, where young people from all over the world and from different backgrounds get an opportunity to practice their diplomatic and leadership skills through debates and discussions governed by the United Nations rules and procedures.
The Youth of United Nations Association (YUNA) of Tanzania is pleased to announce that, the application window for the 24th Tanzania International Model United Nations (TIMUN) 2021 is open! #TIMUN2021 is slated to be convened from August 23rd - 27th, 2021 in Arusha, Tanzania, under the theme, "Youth Engagement towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Decade of Action".
The set of Thematic Areas to be discussed in-depth are the following:
1: Healthy Nations with youth at the steering wheel
(Realizing SRH and GBV Free Society)
2: Youth potentials in peace building for sustainable peace and development.
3: Empowered youth for decent work
(Accelerating innovation and creativity for decent work and employment).
4: Critical Skills towards 2030
(Unleashing youth potentials towards the SDGs decade of Action)
