Visa For Music is the first international music market rooted in Africa since 2014. This festival, dedicated to promoting global musical diversity, with a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East, serves as a crucial platform for artists, music professionals, and industry stakeholders. It provides a conducive space for networking, idea exchange, and the creation of fruitful collaborations.

The celebration of the 10th edition in 2023 marked a milestone, featuring 64 concerts across 9 stages and the participation of over 1200 professionals from 80 countries. The event also included 1400 speed meetings, 13 conferences, and workshops with the involvement of 42 international speakers.
This year, around forty artists/groups from around the world will be selected by a jury composed of culture and music industry professionals. This call is open to artists/groups of all musical styles, showcasing music from around the globe.
We are delighted to announce that the 11th edition of Visa For Music will take place from November 20 to 23, 2024, in Rabat, the "City of Lights" and the Moroccan capital of culture. The call for applications is now open! We expect an exceptional edition and are confident that this event will continue to be a vital catalyst for promoting musical diversity and strengthening ties within the global music industry.
The deadline for submitting applications is set for March 18, 2024.
Eligibility criteria for application:- Age over 18- Existing musical project for at least one year with significant stage experience as an artist- Project for a 40-minute original live music concert- All artists are encouraged to apply, including those who have applied in the past without being selected.- Artists who have previously participated in a VFM edition and now present a new project are also welcome.- Only complete applications submitted by the deadline will be considered.
Conditions of support after selection:- Visa for Music does not apply any participation fees.- Visa For Music does not cover the travel expenses for the selected artists.- Visa For Music covers the transfer to/from the airport for selected artists and provides accommodation for a maximum of 6 group members.- Visa For Music offers a stipend in Moroccan dirhams on the day of the concert and does not cover artist fees.
