In an employment-related context, volunteerism is concerned with the methods and tools employers use to support employees that want to volunteer.in this relation YOWPSUD recognize this important aspect and dynamic in shaping volunteers to develop skills and techniques and offer employment opportunities.
The spirit of volunteerism at workspaces contributes to promoting and increasing knowledge, skills, expertise and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Volunteers are symbols of sacrifice and commitment. Their roles in enhancing primary functions of institutions and companies cannot be undermined. Its for this reason, YOWPSUD has for a long time encouraged volunteerism among youth and women in realizing its overall goals and objectives. The organization’s success has been achieved through the hard work and commitment of its volunteers. We value their efforts and continuously encourage other institutions to support this. In terms of personal and professional growth, YOWPSUD has been able to support in providing exchange and capacity building programs, and participation in forums and networks both local, regional and international such as the Tanzania international model of United Nations, 4th inter-continental youth forum, global youth project –capacity building , leadership development program by common wealth 100 among others.
