Are you a young person passionate about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)?
Are you between 18 and 30 years of age?
Are you interested in working, collaborating, and learning with other young people across Eastern and Southern Africa?
If so, then you are invited to apply for the ESA Regional Youth Exchange Programme on SRHR and have a chance to work with youth-led organizations in Malawi, Uganda, and Zambia on activities and initiatives that promote meaningful youth participation, advocacy, innovation, and community engagement in SRHR. This is a collaboration between Network for Adolescent and Youth of Africa (NAYA) – Kenya, the Centre for Youth Empowerment and Civic Education (CYECE) – Malawi (Coordinating Partner), Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU) – Uganda, and Centre for Reproductive Health and Education (CRHE) – Zambia. The ESA Regional Youth Exchange on SRHR is designed to strengthen youth leadership, innovation, advocacy, and meaningful participation in SRHR across the region. The programme provides a platform for young people to exchange knowledge, skills, experiences, and best practices while contributing to initiatives that address SRHR challenges affecting young people in Eastern and Southern Africa.
During the exchange, participants will have the opportunity to interact with partner organizations, share ideas and experiences, and strengthen their skills in SRHR advocacy, youth participation, leadership, policy engagement, community mobilization, digital advocacy, research, and organizational development. Participants will also gain expertise in intercultural communication, networking, and regional collaboration.
